I'm going to go back and make all of my previous entries private. Then I will try to procrastinate from work by posting fun pictures from South America. Then I will write more often. My brain is going 100 miles a minute (or whatever that is in km) but then I never have time to actually sit down and chat with people. So, we'll see.

EDIT: photos uploaded... some of my favourites, anyway

Sarah Polley has weird teeth... but...

My Life Without Me is one of my favourite movies and it's on tv (weird) right now. As if it makes me choose between Scott Speedman and Mark Ruffalo.

Favourite scene watched today: Sophia and Dorothy as Sonny and Cher

Favourite Quote ever:
Blanche: Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go slip into a hot steamy bath with just enough water to barely cover my perky bosoms.
Sophia: You're only gonna sit in an inch of water?
* I remember watching this (as a 7 year old if it was the first airing) and thinking "hmmm that joke got a lot of laughs. I'm going to store it away and figure it out some day." Done.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgTpqT2K7NI 2:30 mark if you'd like to see...

You know, for someone who reads livejournals at least twice a day, I don't post very often...

Merry Christmas everyone (and a belated happy Hanukkah)!

I'm watching It's a Wonderful Life and helping my mom make stuffing. YUM. A little over 12 hours before I can eat it...

Have a safe and happy holiday season!

2. Jiří Kochta
3.

4. JN Burnett Secondary School
5. Utah Lake
6. Lewis L Morgan

7. NPL
8. Michał Wiśniowiecki

Okay, we did a really great job of choosing our band name, and I would friggin love to own an album called "Milky" but most of the song titles blow. We all know that 1986 was the only good year for country...

PS: Joel Plaskett Wednesday night, and Thursday night, and White Cowbell Oklahoma on Friday. Suckas.

I didn't go to the gym today. I'm saying it's in honour of Hannukah... happy holidays, y'all. I chose my Jon Stewart icon b/c he's a Jew.

I will go to the gym on Friday before the Christmas party I'm going to. You heard it here first.

First video: Rose Cousins and Rose Polenzani in my new favourite cover of all time. Rose C is my favourite songwriter. She makes me cry at every show.
Second video: Rose P and a group of others do my favourite karaoke tune.

These are the top 200 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing's users. Bold what you have read, italicize what you started but couldn't finish, and strike through what you couldn't stand. Turns out I'm pretty good at finishing the "unreadables"... or maybe I just don't start that many of them.

 I'm still alive, I promise.

I've been so busy trying to find a new place to live (think I found it!), coaching basketball (as if I know anything about it) and, oh yeah, teaching. I cannot wait for things to calm down!

I'm going to see Ryan Adams this week, and Ben Harper next. I am so excited. I missed a free Joel Plaskett show last night but Ben will make everything better.

I'll be back with a full update soon...

1. Back to Toronto tomorrow (Tuesday).

2. Not looking forward to the apartment hunting... unless the one I'm going to see tomorrow night is gorgeous.

3. Will be online for the next week straight while I pretend to prepare for the upcoming school year.
